July 4th, 1502 the Spanish flagship El Dorado sinks off the western coast of Puerto Rico carrying among other gold cargo destined for King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, the Golden Table, a 1.5 ton gift from the infamous governor Francisco de Bobadilla. Peter Colburn has been bumming around south Florida his whole life chasing his two loves, tarpon and women. Fly fishing the Florida flats and working by day, trolling the bars and dodging old flames by night made.
